If you’re just starting out, look for a brush set that covers the basics. Recommended makeup brushes include a foundation, powder, blush, eye shadow, and a blending brush. Our sets have each been carefully curated to include all the tools you’ll need to create a range of polished looks with ease, whatever your level of expertise.

How do I clean and care for makeup brushes?

Napoleon Perdis Brush Cleaner is essential in maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of your brushes between each use. Spray one or two pumps of the cleaner onto a clean tissue, then gently wipe your brush back and forth on the tissue to remove makeup and sanitise. Allow the brush to dry before use. We also recommend washing your brushes with a mild shampoo and conditioner once a week, depending on frequency of use. To do this, dampen the brush with water, add a small amount of shampoo, and lather only the brush hairs. Rinse under running water until clear, then squeeze out any excess water. Repeat with conditioner, and lay each brush flat with the bristle end sitting over the bench to dry. Allow 8–10 hours of drying time.
