BLUSH & BRONZER
THE MOST FL ATTERING TECHNIQUES

Blush and bronzer are no doubt two of the most transformative items
within your makeup bag. A single swipe of romantic blush and sun-
kissed bronzer instantly completes any look. From romantic rose to chic
coral, and matte and shimmer options to choose from, discover your new
coveted blush and bronze icons.

Feel like you can’t decide between a bronzed or blush look? You don’t
have to, you can rock both – it comes down to clever application to ensure
your look isn’t overkill.

BRONZER FOR A
SUN-SCULPTED GLOW

“Using a large, fluffy brush, begin with a light
hand, gradually building up the colour. Sweep
along the cheekbones, the temples, and around
the perimeter of your face.” says Nathan Kaké,
Napoleon Perdis Global MUA. Applying your
bronzer where the sun would naturally hit, such
as down the bridge of the nose, adds warmth
and the perfect sun-sculpted glow. For a natural-
looking wash of foolproof colour, opt for a
matte formula, minus shimmer. Our new Bronze
Icon Matte is silky to the touch and effortlessly
blendable for a seamless and comfortable finish.

BRONZER
SHIMMER VS MATTE

If we had to decide between bronzer with
shimmer or a matte formula, the simple
answer is, we can’t! “Both formulas create a
sun-kissed look, it comes down to application
and product placement.” says Nathan. When
applying a matte bronzer, it’s easier to build
colour for a more natural look. Bronzers with
shimmer such as Bronze Patrol require a little
less product. Apply only to the high points
of the face for a subtle, yet flattering sheen,
otherwise your bronzed glow can morphe into
a shimmering, shining twilight zone - not ideal
for oily skin types.

BLUSH FOR A
ROMANTIC FLUSH

Pinch-perfect, rosy cheeks are the quickest and
easiest way to awaken your complexion whilst
delivering a healthy and romantic glow. “For
a youthful, feminine flush, lightly apply to the
apples of the cheeks, or to simply add life and
colour to the face, apply slightly higher to the
cheekbones.” advises Nathan.

This technique delivers a healthy-looking flush
to the cheeks AND gives the illusion of sculpted,
lifted cheekbones. Our new Blush Patrol Matte
delivers a diffused flush of velvet-matte pigment
for a silky-smooth second skin feel.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SHADE
OF BLUSH SUITS ME?

When it comes to blush, there’s no universal shade that suits everyone, however
a subtle pink or peach shade tends to complement most skin tones. For fair skin
tones, opt for a peach hue, or, for deeper skin tones, a pink-ish-orange will bring
out your natural flush. For a longer-lasting finish, try applying a crème blush with
a powder blush layered over the top. Apply with a medium sized cheek brush for
controlled application.
