I don't personally use it as lip primer, but rather as a lip moisturizer. I put this on every night before I go to bed. In the winter months when my lips are drier, this is a lifesaver! "This past year I have developed a contact dermatitis on my lips from some sanitising hand rubs (we all touch our face after sanitising our hands). Anyway the best product I found to help relieve the extra dry lips was a Napoleon Perdis (NP) lip gloss that I bought 20years ago. So I squeezed out every drop and then jumped online and bought NP Auto Pilot Lip Service. Happily the new product works as well as the 20year old one.
